Silent Samaritans
The Silent Samaritan Program is based on a simple, yet very powerful idea that can be
summed up in just three words – women helping women. Silent Samaritans are dedicated to
raising funds to support women in need and
o insure that every woman who comes to Samaritan Interfaith seeking counseling help
will receive that help, regardless of her ability
to pay.
They are women in difficult financial circumstances due to divorce, job loss, or abandonment. They are mothers parenting alone, widows isolated in their bereavement, married women in failing relationships, and survivors of domestic violence. Women and girls make up 58% of those who turn to Samaritan Interfaith for healing and hope and they range in age from as
young as 3 to more than 80 years old.
This special appeal to women to assist other women at risk is Silent Samaritan. We invite
you to become a Silent Samaritan today!
